Hi, friends! Welcome back to the blog! Today we’re taking a sneak peek at Lauren and Nick’s gorgeous Edson Hill wedding and Mount Mansfield portrait session!
Being a wedding photographer in Vermont is the absolute best — I say it all of the time and can’t stop, won’t stop. Not only do we have gorgeous summer greenery and cozy snowy winters, but we have lakes and mountains and sunset views for days. Nick and Lauren’s wedding embraced SO many of these beautiful elements that Vermont has to offer and I loved every second of it.
Needless to say, it’s been a strange and stressful year. Like many 2020 couples, Lauren and Nick had something else in mind for their original wedding day plans. As COVID-19 progressed this summer, these two adjusted accordingly…again, and again.
An Edson Hill Wedding
Their last adjustment led them to host a micro wedding at Edson Hill with 10 of their closest family members, followed by an intimate picnic by the Edson Hill pond. When the picnic was over, Lauren and Nick and Macauley (the videographer) and I headed to the Mount Mansfield summit. Once there, they read their vows to each other with only Macaulay and I (and the wind) as their witnesses.
Oh, and can we talk about how STINKIN CUTE their pup Luna is? I can’t even. Sorry not sorry that there are SO many cute moments of her throughout this blog share.
To current and future couples — iIf anything, use this post as another solid reminder that while celebrations may be smaller this year, they are still so, so full of all the good things marrying your person can bring. Oh, and some pretty rad photos, too. <3
