Hi, friends! Welcome back to the blog.
Megan and James’ Stowe Elopement
Today I’m SO excited to share images from Megan and James’ Stowe Vermont elopement photography gallery. These two were married two weeks ago on family property just outside of Stowe, Vermont. Once their original wedding plans for April 10th fell through due to COVID-19, Megan and James decided that their family property was the perfect place for them to elope. We spent the afternoon adventuring on their property with mountain views, and then their ceremony took place in front of the pond out back. I photographed, officiated, AND managed to get a few video clips together for them as a little gift. Their pup, Gouda, was THE CUTEST and even dressed for the occasion. We ended up taking her floral collar off during the ceremony, but I COULD NOT get enough of it!
Here are a few fun facts about these two…er, three. The last question/answer is my favorite. People with unbounded optimism are TOTALLY my kind of people <3
Describe your relationship vibe in three words: fun, silly adventurous
What is your favorite thing about each other?
Megan: “My favorite thing about James is his burning sense of curiosity: he’s always interested in diving deep into learning new topics or skills, traveling to new places, and solving problems. I learn so much alongside him, and it’s inspiring to be by his side.”
James: “Megan is endlessly likable and good-natured personality. My greatest joy is simply being around you, talking for hours, and experiencing new things together.”
What are your favorite things to do on the weekends together?
We both love food and enjoy checking out new restaurants together, or meeting up with friends for drinks. We also love traveling, and seek out new adventures when we can.
If you could freeze one aspect of your lives right now, what would that be?
Not sure we’d want to? While we’ve loved our time together so far we think it only has potential to get EVEN better. That might just be our unbounded optimism.
Megan and James, congratulations again! Thank you again for trusting me with your day.
