Absolutely! Bring on any shape, size, gender, orientation, preference, identity, culture, color, or identification — love is love. And I am a big fan of documenting all of it. I’m so grateful that my job allows me to witness so many different celebrations of love — they are all different, and all so beautiful.

ARE YOU LGBTQIA+ & BIPOC FRIENDLY?

Honestly? If you don't feel that you've connected with me through browsing my site or after our discovery call, you might not want to book me. My ultimate goal is to connect with people so that I can photograph them in the best way possible. I find that a quick Zoom call is enough time for us both to determine whether we'd feel comfortable working together. If the call doesn't resonate with you, I might not be the best match for capturing your day, and that's okay. There are many talented and amazing wedding photographers out there and I would be happy to recommend someone else to you whose style might be a better fit. But, if you're looking for an easy going, fun, professional experience that ends with timeless, artistic imagery, let's chat.

WHY SHOULD WE HIRE YOU?

Yes, absolutely. These photos are so important to have over the years and we will get all of the classic moments, too. I promise.

I KNOW YOU LOVE CANDID PHOTOGRAPHY, BUT WILL YOU TAKE TRADITIONAL FAMILY PORTRAITS TOO?

Yes, of course. We have two rescue dogs at home and completely understand that you may want them included in your engagement session or wedding coverage. If you plan to bring your pet, please give me a heads up so we can make sure we plan for a pet friendly location and have someone with us to attend to you pup when needed.

CAN WE BRING OUR PET TO OUR SESSION / WEDDING?

In three words? Natural light, editorial, emotional. It’s genuine, fun and honest. My style leans a bit more towards the documentary/candid side of things than the standard wedding photographer side. That said, I still schedule a few portions of the day for timeless, classic family and couple portraits. I've found over the course of my career that I much prefer to sit back and document real moments as they unfold vs directing the entire course of your day and creating said moments.

I will, of course be offering guidance whenever necessary (better light options, what to do with your hands, how to avoid a double chin, etc) but I prefer not to interrupt a beautiful moment that's already happening .  Lastly, my editing style adds a little film-like character and depth, but keeps colors fairly true to life  - because in 20 years you want to remember how your day felt, but also how it really looked.

How would you describe your photography style?

Yes. Without a doubt. Absolutely. These photos are important for so many reasons. I love candids and share them all over, but there is also a time and place for traditional portraits. Your mom, your grandma, and future you will be grateful to have these. Looking at the camera and smiling isn’t anyone’s favorite activity, but we’ll make it as painless as possible. Promise.

I get it - you love taking candid, natural photos. Will you also take regular look-at-the-camera shots?

I love travel almost as much as I love photographing weddings, so yes! I have recently traveled to Jamaica and Aruba for destination weddings. Depending on location, I often include travel for most U.S. locations in my rates, and I offer special rates for international weddings, so if you’re thinking of getting hitched anywhere inside or outside of the U.S., send me an email and we can work out the details.

DO YOU TRAVEL FOR DESTINATION WEDDINGS?

Each session and event varies, but for couple sessions / engagements / proposals I guarantee a minimum of 50 fully edited, high resolution images that you may download and print/share wherever your heart desires!

Weddings usually tally somewhere around 700 - 800 for full day (8 hour) coverage. Each image in your final gallery is hand edited one by one.

How many photos do we get in the final gallery?

It's one thing to spend 8 hours photographing someone's wedding, and it's a whole other thing to choose the best images and edit them to look the absolute best that they can. It can also be a time consuming process - you don't want to rush the process! I know how excited you are to receive the final gallery - trust me, I've been there. I promise you the wait is worth it. On average, couple sessions, engagements and proposals usually take about 3-5 weeks and full weddings/larger events will be delivered somewhere around 8-10 weeks.

How long will it take to receive the final gallery of images?

Yes - my business is fully insured and registered in the State of Vermont.

Do you have business insurance?

When you're ready, please fill out my contact form with whatever wedding information you have so far (date, venue, planner, planned investment). Once received, I'll send you an email  with more info and a link to schedule a quick Zoom call. I love having the opportunity to say a quick hello and walk you through the process of working with me before you book. Following the call, I'll send a more customized proposal your way based on your wedding weekend coverage needs.

Where can I find more pricing information?

The next step would be to fill out my contact form. From there, I'll email you a link so that we can schedule a time to chat. Following our call, I will send a more custom proposal your way for your review along with a draft contract and invoice.  To consider yourselves officially booked on my calendar, I I require a signed contract, as well as a 25% non-refundable retainer payment. When payment has been received and the contract has been signed, I will send an official booking confirmation your way.

I love your site - you seem so fun! What's the next step?!
