Well, I’m over here catching up on a few blog posts and it’s no secret by now that I loooooove me a photo session at Shelburne Farms. I have to confess, however, that it’s because Mark and I spent a couple of years walking the trails regularly — SO regularly, in fact, that Mark proposed to me on the waterfront down next to the Inn <3 So, ultimately I am a bit biased — but there is absolutely no denying that the property is gorgeous and full of image opportunities and pretty light.
The People: I have known Jen since I was about… 14? She and I started our first job around the same time bussing tables at a local restaurant, DJ’s, in Ludlow, Vermont. Flash forward a few years, and we ended up being roommates in college for a while. Then we both went our separate ways and moved out of Vermont — but years later both of us returned! AND she returned with Ezra, who I’m starting to figure out is basically the perfect match for her. AND, now I get to photograph her wedding <3
So, here we are now reconnecting and I am so happy to have her energetic and easy going vibe back in my life — anyone that knows Jen knows she is always easy to talk to and full of energy. The Session: There was absolutely no way I could go without sharing these sunset images — Jen and Ezra even popped a bottle to celebrate!
