A Vermont Treehouse Elopement: The Recap
When Sabrina first reached out inquiring about elopement photography she noted they had booked The Tree Cabin at Walker Pond property on Airbnb. I tried not to sound overexcited at the time, but I definitely was. This specific Airbnb has been mentioned on various “best of” lists, making it a rare availability find. Paired with the cabin’s romantic, cozy ambiance, I just knew this was going to be an awesome Vermont elopement experience.
Sabrina knew from the beginning of their engagement that she wanted to elope. It took a bit of convincing, but once Garrett agreed he was all in. After struggling to find the perfect location they both had never been to before, they landed on Vermont and the dreamy Vermont treehouse listing! When these two first reached out to me they were still unsure of timeline and logistics, but they knew they wanted the day to be easy going and fun (which I’m pretty sure is a vibe I excel at).
After a bit of planning back and forth, we settled on capturing a few detail shots of the cabin, a first look between the two of them in front of the pond before a ceremony nearby, followed by portraits around the property during golden hour. Once portraits were taken, we planned to hop in our cars and head to Lake Willoughby for lakeside sunset portraits and some bubbly to celebrate.
