Photographing proposals in Vermont is one of my favorite things – the anticipation, the nerves, the excitement! Honestly, proposals might be more nerve-racking than a wedding ceremony. There’s planning, occasionally hiding, and what can seem like endless minutes of butterflies.
The good news? Proposals, especially Twin Farms wedding proposals, are insanely beautiful to photograph and often occur on picturesque properties during golden hour with magically lit backdrops or mountain views. When Tyler reached out to me about his proposal to Julie, I knew how much thought had gone into his plans for their day and couldn’t wait to capture the moment for them. Tyler was looking for a beautiful outdoor location on the Twins Farms property and, since photography is important to him and Julie, he wanted to be sure the photos had more of a candid, documentary feel to them. The icing on the cake? They were bringing their new puppy with them and Tyler asked that we involve her in the session as well.
When they day came, Tyler proposed, Julie was surprised and jumped into his arms, and their pup high-fived Tyler to celebrate. Following their Twin Farms wedding proposal, the three of us adventured around the property. We ended their session with Tyler and Julie settling into two Adirondack chairs, glass of champagne in hand, ready to take it all in before enjoying a private dinner in the Twin Farms wine cellar.
Congratulations, again, you two. Wishing you a wonderful wedding and marriage ahead!
