Dana and Chandler

Happy Sunday, friends! I’m back with my last wedding blog until December — what?! Crazy, I know. This year was full of so much fun, with so many wonderful humans, and a handful of adorable pups and littles (little humans, that is). I do have a few engagement sessions to blog about, so stay tuned for those in the coming weeks.
In the meantime, please give a warm hello to Dana and Chandler. These two reached out in early March asking me to photograph their intimate destination wedding in Brandon, Vermont. Since smaller shindigs are always so warm and genuine, I of course said yes! We met up in April at Zero Gravity for a beer, followed by a mini engagement session at Oakledge with their two pups, Winnie and Rue!
[Also, fun fact: Mark and I adopted a dog a couple of months ago and at the time I thought, “Hmmmm – Winnie is a great name!” And it was honestly only THE DAY OF Dana and Chandler’s wedding while I was driving to their venue that I realized where I had gotten that name before — from when I met their pup back in March! Luckily they were cool with me stealing their pup’s name — let’s consider it a form of flattery :)]
Here are a few images from their mini engagement session — there’s no way I can post this wedding without a few of these, too!
And now for a few fun facts about these two…er, four:
Describe your relationship vibe in three words: Easy going, unconventional, adventurous.
What is your favorite thing about each other?
Chandler: She is strong and full hearted.
Dana: He is nurturing and a great caretaker.
Tell me a little about your personalities and interests: We are easy going and fun people who love to hike and be there our dogs. Live music is another thing we love to do when we have the time.
Describe your perfect date night together: Just the two of us with unique foods, good drinks, and end with a fire outside and our dogs hanging out after.
And with that said, here are the images from their day — congrats again, you two! Please stay in touch — I’d love to have a Winnie, Winnie and Rue playdate next time you visit Vermont <3
